Autumn Craft Markets
Over the last month or two I’ve been participating in some local craft markets and festivals. It’s been so good to get out and meet customers, and get direct feedback about my products.
It’s been really strange running my business online for the majority of the last year, so I’ve enjoyed having the opportunity to sell at events in real life.
At the end of August I had my first stall at Camberley Craft Markets with Folly Fairs. It was a small market, so it was a good one to get me started, and I met some lovely small businsess owners such as Mini Earths, Anastasia Fine Artist and Mayde To Treasure. I found that my most popular products at this market were my greetings cards, so it’s given me some inspiration for new card designs to create.
In September I had a stall at the brilliant MK Handmade and Vintage Fair, which was huge - with other 100 stalls! It was a complete change to the Camberley fair, and much busier. I also loved exploring the stalls nearby and chatting to other stall holders.
Later in September, I also had the chance to exhibit at the Reading Vegan Festival which was at The Market House in the town centre. I met so many lovely customers there, and my Plant Peeps collection was extremely popular! I’m looking forward to being involved in more vegan events in the Reading area over the next few months.
Looking forward to October, I’m booked in to have stalls at the below two markets in Buckingham and Chippenham, so it would be lovely to see you there if you’re local to the area!
If you know of any local craft markets to your area that you think I would suit having a stall at, please get in touch!
