Join local illustrator Helen Ridley for a NEW watercolour workshop where you'll have the opportunity to create stunning loose and expressive florals in watercolour and coloured pencils.

There will be a variety of fresh flowers so you can observe and draw from life and the class will start with fun warm-up exercises including brush techniques, shape studies and composition planning.

There will be a focus on mixing colour palettes, exploring shape and textures of the florals with the addition of colour pencil line. The emphasis will be on capturing the essence of each flower rather than anything too detailed.

You will create a final A4 watercolour composition, as well as an A6 greetings card - perfect for gifting on Mothers Day.

All materials are provided, and all abilities are welcome.
