Live Mothers Day Portraits at 1 Hotel Mayfair

I was back in Mayfair again at the end of March, to capture live portraits of guests enjoying their meals at the wonderful Dovetale Restaurant at 1 Hotel Mayfair.

It was a fabulous way to offer an exclusive experience to guests, as they received their portraits as a complimentary gift on the day.

My illustrations were created in the sunny terrace area and I was able to sample some of the delicious food on the menu as well.

I created portraits of families and couples and I loved how stylishly dressed everyone was, including the children.

I visited the hotel 1 week before to celebrate my birthday and it was such a special visit. There was a bottle of complimentary champagne and chocolates in our room when we arrived, and we enjoyed yummy cocktails in the bar on during the evening.

The cocktails are updated throughout the year, to tie in with fruits that are in season. They even have a range of cocktails made from repurposed ingredients, to tie in with their sustainable credientials. The next morning, we sampled the delicious brunch menu - my particular favourite was the burrata and herb butter omelette.

Last year I was at the same location creating live dog portraits for a Dog BBQ in the summer. This was to celebrate the fact that 1 Hotel Mayfair is a pet friendly hotel with lots of thoughtful touches for a furry companion.
